The Uptown neighbourhood of New Westminster is a modern urban environment that features a wide array of amenities and business services. Over 7 major financial institutions operate branches in the Uptown area, most of which offer commercial banking services. The Uptown area offers an abundance of shopping in Westminster Centre (London Drugs & a grocery store) and Royal City Centre. Bus service is frequent and conveniently connects to four nearby SkyTrain (rapid transit) stations. New Westminster is centrally located in the Greater Vancouver area and is close to 3 major bridges and to highways in all directions.
