Building Description

Westminster Centre is a four storey mixed use commercial building containing approximately 168,000 square feet of rentable area over 4 floors. The ground floor is predominantly retail, anchored by a large London Drugs and a grocery store due to open in 2015. The original 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors contain approximately 33,000 square feet of office space. The 2nd floor former cinema space was also recently removed and replaced with a vertical expansion of the property with the addition of three new floors of A class office space. This redevelopment called Westminster Centre South is the first market office building in the Lower Mainland constructed to LEED GOLD standards. It is also the new home of the BC Safety Authority. The building was originally constructed in 1978 and features concrete construction. It has underwent many renovations, most recently in 2005 and 2008/09. The building is fully sprinklered and equipped with fire detection and prevention systems and equipment.
